Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 dash salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. cashews or nuts of your choice (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk and salt.
    Let boil on medium heat approximately 15 minutes or until you drop a drop of mixture into cold water and it forms a medium-hard ball.
    Remove from stove. Add peanut butter, margarine and vanilla (nuts optional).
    Stir until mixture starts to thicken.
