Grandma'S Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. light raisins
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually with milk and vanilla. Beat well.
Add raisins.
Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
