New Orleans Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Del Monte Cajun or original style stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. diced cooked beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin (optional)
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, meat, onion, pepper, chili powder, cumin and cayenne.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Stir in beans and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Garnish with shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
