Ingredients

2 c. persimmon pulp
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. buttermilk
2 c. sifted plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Mix persimmon pulp, beaten eggs and milk.
Sift the dry ingredients together and pour the liquid mixture into them.
Stir in melted butter and pour into a shallow greased pan to a depth of about 2 inches.
Bake about 1 hour in a very moderate oven at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
Serve plain or with whipped cream.
