Pasta In Southwestern Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh garlic
    1/4 c. minced shallots or onion
    4 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped pickled whole jalapeno peppers
    2 large ripe tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    1/2 lb. fresh pasta (your choice)
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Heat sherry and oil to bubbling in heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add garlic and shallots or onions and saute for 3 minutes.
    Add sun-dried tomatoes, jalapenos and regular tomatoes.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
