Blue-Cheesed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 - 14 extra large, fresh, whole mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. (1-oz.) blue cheese, crumbled (more if you like)
    1/3 c. dry, fine, bread crumbs
    Salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash the mushrooms and remove the stems.
    Chop the stems and cook them and the onions in the margarine until tender but not brown.
    Add the cheese, 2 Tbsp. of the crumbs, and salt and pepper to taste.
    Fill the mushroom crowns with the mixture and sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
    Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Serve as an appetizer or with a meat entree.
