Crunch Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. raw quick oats
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Lightly grease cookie sheets.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    In large mixing bowl, at medium speed, mix butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    At low speed, beat in flour mixture until well combined. Stir in oats and coconut until well blended to make a stiff dough. Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Makes 5 dozen.
