Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sugar (scant)
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. water
    2 c. clear jell
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Bring sugar, salt
    and 6 cups water to boil, then add clear jell and 2 cups
    water.
    Pour
    over
    4
    quarts of fruit; process 20 minutes. Add couple
    drops yellow food coloring for peaches, 1 teaspoon cinnamon for apples,
    peaches
    and
    berries
    and
    1 tablespoon
    lemon juice for blueberries.
    Makes 6 to 7 quart canned filling.
