Apple Grunt - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 cooking apples
1 1/3 c. pastry or cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
Preparation
-
Pare and core apples.
Slice into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan to form a layer about 1/2-inch thick.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
