Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, sliced
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 can chicken soup, undiluted
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) seasoned stuffing mix
Preparation
    Cook squash and onions tender in a very small amount of boiling salted water.
    Drain.
    Season with salt and pepper and one tablespoon butter.
    Stir in chicken soup, sour cream and pimento until well blended.
    Combine half of stuffing mix and squash mixture.
    Spoon into a 2-quart buttered casserole dish.
    Top with remaining stuffing mix.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
