Ingredients

pie shell
berries
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. liquid, consisting of smaller berries, mashed and if necessary enough water to make 1 c. liquid
1 tsp. lemon juice
red coloring
Preparation

First bake a pie shell and when cold, fill with largest berries.
Make a glaze by mixing the sugar and cornstarch.
Add the liquid and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Cook until thick.
If not red enough, add a few drops of red coloring.
Let cool, then pour over berries in pie shell.
Let stand in refrigerator.
When ready to serve, top with whipped cream.
