Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. raw apples (Winesap)
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Peel apples and chop. Set aside.
    Pour oil in large mixing bowl. Add sugar and eggs. Beat well. Gradually add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Gently add apples.
    Flour nuts lightly and add to cake mixture. Bake in cake pan or 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Glaze while warm with glaze.
