Easy Beef-N-Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown rice
4 c. low-sodium stock
4 scallions, chopped
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato puree
1 tsp. Mrs. Dash
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
Bring to boil; lower the heat and simmer until tender, about 35 to 40 minutes.
In large frying pan, saute the ground beef.
Drain off any excess fat, then add puree and seasoning.
Add the cooked rice.
Heat through and serve.
