Leek And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced raw potatoes
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3 large leeks, sliced thin (1 1/2 to 2 c.)
    1/4 c. fresh dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    pinch of white pepper
Preparation
    Place potatoes in a saucepan.
    Add milk and salt.
    Cover and cook until slightly tender, about 10 minutes.
    Arrange layers of potatoes and the leeks in a 5-cup casserole or baking dish. Combine crumbs, butter and white pepper and sprinkle over the top. Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Serves 4.
