24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    10 oz. frozen peas
    2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese
    6 to 8 pieces fried, crumbled bacon
Preparation
    In a large clear bowl, fill it halfway with torn lettuce. Layer the rest of the ingredients on top of the lettuce in the order listed.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Serve.
