Viennese Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Sara Lee pound cake
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. water
    4 egg yolks, beaten
Preparation
    Melt butter, chocolate chips and water over high heat.
    Beat and cool.
    Add egg yolks, sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth. Cool before spreading on cake.
    Slice the cake horizontally into 4 equal parts.
    Spread chocolate mixture between each layer.
    Pour the remaining chocolate mixture on the top of the cake, letting it run down the sides on to the cake platter.
    Chill at least one day or overnight.
