Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. chopped peeled tomatoes (ripe)
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 c. chopped sweet green peppers
    1 1/2 c. chopped sweet red peppers
    2 c. chopped apples
    3 c. chopped celery
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. mustard
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except vinegar and boil gently for 1 1/2 hours (stir lest it burn).
    Then add vinegar and simmer 45 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
    Pour into sterilized jars or bottles and seal.
