Slaw (Sweet And Sour) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 large onion, sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. celery seed
    3 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. oil
    3 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Layer shredded cabbage and onion rings.
    Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup sugar; set aside.
    Bring to a boil celery seed, mustard, salt, sugar, vinegar and oil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Cover and leave out of refrigerator 4 to 6 hours.
    Stir and refrigerate. Will keep 3 weeks.
