1 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 box saltines
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Melt sugar in butter slowly; bring to boil for 3 minutes. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Line cookie sheet with saltines, side by side.
Pour butter mixture over saltines.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Pour chocolate chips over crackers.
When melted, spread evenly.
Cool in refrigerator until chocolate hardens.
Cut into pieces.
