Hawaiian Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. carrots, sliced
2 (8 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Drain juice from 1 can of the pineapple and add to sugar, butter and salt.
Boil 5 minutes.
In a baking dish alternate layers of carrot slices with layers of crushed pineapple.
Pour boiling syrup over all and cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
