Hard Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. flavoring oil
    1 drop food coloring
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar a strip (18 x 24-inch) aluminum foil (heavy).
    Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in large, heavy saucepan.
    Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
    Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in flavoring and food coloring and pour on foil.
