Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; set aside.
    Combine buttermilk and vanilla.
    Mix dry ingredients and alternate with milk mixture to creamed ingredients.
    Drop from a tablespoon onto slightly greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten slightly and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 13 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
