Apple-Scotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. oats
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. butterscotch flavor chips
    1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. chopped apples
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
    In large bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture.
    Stir in chips, apples and oats.
    Using a rounded tablespoon for each cookie, drop dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool 1 minute.
    Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen 3-inch cookies.
