Pineapple Upside Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. packed brown sugar
    5 pineapple slices, drained and halved
    9 maraschino cherries
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in 9 x 9-inch pan; brush up onto sides of pan. Add brown sugar; blend over low heat.
    Remove from heat and arrange pineapple halves and cherries.
