Green And Gold Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cheese soup (undiluted)
    1 (6 oz.) roll nippy cheese or Cheddar, diced or grated
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. mushroom pieces
    3 c. hot cooked rice
    1 (3 oz.) can French fried onion rings or 1/2 to 3/4 c. cornbread stuffing
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until soft.
    Add soup, cheese and garlic powder.
    Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
    Add mushrooms (undrained), broccoli and rice.
    Turn into buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Top with French fried onions or cornbread stuffing.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, until bubbly.
    Makes 8 servings.
