Eggplant Parmesan Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. milk
    3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
    salad oil
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasonings
    1/2 tsp. savory
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Peel and cut eggplant in 1/2-inch crosswise slices.
    Beat egg and milk.
    Dip eggplant slices in mixture, then into bread crumbs. Saute a few slices in the oil until golden brown and fork tender. Over bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole, layer 1/2 of eggplant slices, 1/2 of tomato sauce, 1/2 of seasonings and 1/2 of cheeses. Repeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
