Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. hot water
    3 beaten egg whites
    small pinch of salt
    1 tsp. clear vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and hot water together until hard crack stage.
    (When first begins to heat, stir gently until sugar dissolves and syrup is clear.)
