Fresh Turnip Greens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. fresh turnip or collard greens
    3/4 c. olive oil
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. minced fresh garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove and discard stems and any discolored spots from greens. Wash thoroughly and drain.
    Tear into bite size pieces.
    Set aside.
    Combine olive oil and butter in a large stockpot.
    Add garlic and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
    Add greens; cover and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 35 to 45 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in salt and pepper.
