Calico Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can drained kidney beans
    1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained
    1/3 c. diced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. pickle relish
    1 1/4 c. cubed salami or ham
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Toss beans with green pepper, relish and salami.
    In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Gradually stir in water and vinegar; cook and stir until thickened.
    Pour over bean mixture. Serves 4 or 5.
