Holiday Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. red hots
    1 c. boiling water
    1 small box cherry jello
    1 c. cold water
    1 c. chopped apples
    1 c. crushed, drained pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in boiling water.
    Add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Add cold water and cool until mixture thickens.
    Fold in 1 cup chopped apples, pineapple and walnuts.
    Chill until set.
