Better Than Sex Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (I think Duncan Hines is best)
1 medium can crushed pineapple and juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 pt. Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix cake mix and bake as directed in a 13 x 9-inch glass dish. Five minutes before taking from oven, bring pineapple, juice and sugar to a boil.
Pour on cake immediately as cake comes from oven. Let cool, then mix pudding and pour over cooled cake.
When pudding is set, ice with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle top with coconut and pecan pieces.
Cover and chill for 8 hours.
I think it's even better after a couple days.
