Mixed Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    20 oz. pineapple chunks, drain (save liquid)
    1/3 c. freshly squeezed orange juice
    2 medium apples, peeled and cut in large bite size cubes
    2 bananas, sliced
    11 oz. Mandarin oranges, drain completely
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
Preparation
    Mix fruit.
    Coat with the following mixture and refrigerate for several hours.
