Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. candied mixed fruit
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add sifted ingredients; mix well.
Stir in nuts and fruit; turn into buttered pan.
Bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
While warm, cut into small wedges.
