Jennylou'S Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. spare and country ribs (spare adds flavor, country adds meat)
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. fresh ginger root or 1/4 tsp. powdered
    1/4 tsp. cloves (ground)
Preparation
    Place ribs in oven baking bags from Reynolds. (Trust me, it's worth not cleaning up the mess.)
    Bake ribs 1 1/2 hours. Pour off fat and discard. While ribs are baking, mix remaining ingredients. Cook on medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Pour sauce over ribs and cook 1 hour (350\u00b0).
