Louisiana Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. pecan meats
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    butter (size of walnut)
Preparation
    Beat eggs with mixer until light, lemon colored, and frothy. Add sugar and syrup, finely chopped pecan meats (save enough halves to decorate top of pie), vanilla and salt.
