Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
2 c. sour cream
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
2/3 c. chopped onion
2/3 c. melted margarine
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. corn flakes, crushed
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Stir together potatoes, cheese, sour cream, soup, onion, 1/3 cup melted margarine, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan (3-quart size). Mix remaining 1/3 cup margarine with crushed corn flakes and sprinkle over mixture.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes.
Serves 10 to 12.
