Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can (12 oz.) crushed pineapple
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Drain pineapple, saving juice.
Melt butter.
Mix with brown sugar and 1 tablespoon pineapple juice in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Spread pineapple on bottom of pan.
Cream together shortening and sugar until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and 2/3 cup pineapple juice and mix at high speed until most lumps are gone. Pour into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes.
Turn over on large plate.
Serve.
