Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Mix well.
    Cut in Crisco with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add buttermilk.
    Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn out on floured surface.
    Knead 3 to 4 times.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
