Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 heaping Tbsp. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour (half plain flour and half self-rising flour)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) carton whipping cream (may substitute one 8 oz. carton sour cream or 1/2 c. canned cream)
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco with sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and cream alternating until you use all.\tAdd vanilla. Pour into large tube pan well-greased.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for
1
hour and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake is done.
