American-Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

2 c. thinly sliced peeled potatoes
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or cooking oil
Preparation

In a large skillet, add potatoes to hot bacon drippings or oil.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Turn potatoes and cook, uncovered, over medium-high for 5 minutes, loosening once or twice.
