Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 c. squash, cooked and mashed
    1/2 stick butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    6 to 8 saltine crackers
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. mild Cheddar cheese
    10 to 15 Ritz crackers
Preparation
    After cooking and mashing squash, add half of butter, onion, crumbled saltines, sugar, salt and pepper and mix well.
    Coarsely grate (or cut into chunks) cheese and add to squash mixture.
    Pour into greased casserole dish and crumble Ritz crackers and oleo over top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
