Ingredients

1 can diced beets, drained
1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine beet and pineapple juice and bring to boil.
Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Add this and remaining ingredients to boiling juice.
Cook, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. When thick, add beets and pineapple and serve hot.
