Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lemons
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 to 4 c. water (boiling)
Preparation
    Grate 3 lemon rinds.
    Scrape side of grater.
    Use 1/2 cup water to wash side of grater.
    Separate yolk and white from eggs. Add egg yolks, cornstarch, sugar and water to rind mixture.
    Cook until thick.
    If not thick enough, mix cornstarch and water; add to mixture to thicken.
    Pour into 2 baked pie shells.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Put on pies to make meringue.
    Put in oven to brown meringue.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 2 pies.
