Carmelitas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
12 oz. jar caramel topping plus 3 Tbsp. flour
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.
Press half of mixture in a 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Mix caramel and flour.
Spread over oatmeal base, and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Then top with the rest of oatmeal mixture.
Bake an additional 20-25 minutes until golden.
Let cool before cutting.
