Tadpole-In-A-Hole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

shortening
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) can vacuum-packed whole kernel corn
1 (4 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (7 or 8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. small smoked sausage links

Preparation

Turn the oven to 400\u00b0. Put some shortening on a piece of paper towel or waxed
paper. Spread the shortening over the bottom and sides of the baking dish or pan to grease it.
