Dawn'S German Skillet Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1 medium head cabbage, cored and cut into 6 wedges
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 tsp. caraway seed
    1 lb. Polish kielbasa, cut into 6 pieces
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook the bacon slices until crisp.
    Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towel.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon drippings in the skillet.
    To the skillet, add cabbage wedges, chopped onion, water, sugar, minced garlic and caraway seed.
    Bring the liquid to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and cook the cabbage-onion mixture over medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
