Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Make paste with coloring and cocoa.
    Add to mixture.
    Add salt and buttermilk with flour and vanilla.
    Add soda and vinegar.
    Do not beat hard.
    Just blend. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cook in 4 (9-inch) pans.
