Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium size onions, chopped
3 lb. sausage
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
3 c. pinto beans, cooked
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. chili powder
4 c. water
2 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
Preparation

Put pinto beans on and bring to a boil.
Turn off and let sit for 1 hour.
Drain water off; put fresh water on beans and cook until done.
Drain beans and save water.
Fry sausage, onion, garlic and jalapeno until well done and brown.
Drain sausage mixture.
Then add sausage and pinto beans; measure water from beans if needed.
Add enough water to
make 5 cups liquid.
Add salt, pepper, chili powder and
Kitchen Bouquet and put in crock-pot; simmer on low for 1 hour.
