Plain Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. Crisco
4 to 6 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
-
Sift flour and salt together 3 times; cut in Crisco and add water, a little at a time, until mixture will hold together.
Roll on floured board to desired size.
Makes 2 pastry shells.
Bake according to filling recipe.
