Potato Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box lasagna noodles
    2 c. shredded Cooper sharp cheese
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 stick oleo
    5 lb. potatoes
Preparation
    Boil noodles according to package directions.
    Drain and set aside.
    Boil potatoes in salted water until done.
    Saute onion in oleo until transparent.
    Drain potatoes and mash, adding 1/2 onion mixture and the grated cheese.
    Layer noodles in well buttered 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Add 1/2 potato mixture, another layer of noodles, remaining 1/2 potato mixture, ending with another layer of noodles on top.
    Drizzle remaining onion mixture over top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
